I'm becoming a blogger at the instigation of my computer-savvy daughter. She knows me well. She wants to start a blog and needs to get my A.O.K. She knows that I'm cautious, very cautious and will need to feel informed before I say, "Yes." The best way to inform me is by letting me experience blogging for myself. Smart girl.

The idea of blogging on the topic of family unity came at a moment of desperation. Family life is difficult and I often feel like a juggler, spinning plates on the end of long, thin sticks. Well, my plates have been dropping here, there, and everywhere lately...more so than ususal. Throwing my arms up in frustation during a family meeting I asked, "What DOES this family do well?" A wise soul said, "We stick together." Sometimes, often times, a child sees God's grace most clearly.
