Family Organization: Strategize

After you have Analyzed your family situation and all family members have shared their input, it is time for step 2, Strategize.

Take your To Do list and divide it into two categories. The first is "Essential" and the second is "Unessential." Be truthful and brutal! Now, take the Essential List items and place them into categories based on your family priorities. You may also want to sub-divide into other helpful categories such as Finance, Household, etc. Be careful not to have to many categories. Within each category, put items in order of importance, numbering them. If you are very brave, throw away the Unessential List. If not, put the Unessential List away until you have made some headway on the Essential List.

The product of this step is a list of your To Do priorities. Next, we'll attack!
